Soffit

soffitsOver 20 years in the business

Your soffit board is tucked beneath the fascias board along the straight edge of your roof. At street level, it is the component of your roof that is the most visible. Some soffits can be created so that they allow air ventilation into your roof area, although most days ventilation over the top of the fascias board is the preferred choice of many. Ventilation is important as without it, condensation will form in the roof void, thus increasing the risk of damage and decay – especially in older, timber-made roofs. If your soffits are beginning to decay or are damaged, then they will simply not be as effective as they are required to be – this can lead on to more serious issues. At the very least, your roof may allow in moisture and let out warm air. Here at Eastern Roofing we are specialists in the supply and installation of new soffits and you can rest assured that when choosing us you will receive the best possible service from a local business with affordable pricing.

Fascias by Eastern Roofing

FasciasWe are here to help.

When it comes to your roof, it is essential that your Fascias are kept in excellent functional condition. If your home’s roof needs a little bit of tender love and care, then at Eastern Roofing we are here to help. Your fascias are long, straight boards that run along the lower edge of your home’s roof. Your Fascias board will be fixed directly to the roof trusses. The job of your fascias is to support the bottom row of your roof tiles, and to carry all the guttering. Fascias help to keep moisture from entering your home and to prevent heat from escaping. It’s therefore important that your fascias are up to the job and are in an excellent operational condition.

Gutter cleaning

GutteringWe install and clean.

Your guttering plays an important part in keeping your home protected. Water collects upon your roof via rain, hail or snow. All that water has to go somewhere and the last place you want it to go is inside your home! If your guttering is not performing as it should then you are likely to experience problems. Additionally, if your guttering has not been properly maintained or is blocked, then water can run off at points where it is not supposed to. This can cause water to collect at points on the ground, which can cause damage to your home’s surroundings, external walls and foundations.
We recently cleaned a roof and guttering in Brundall.
